Off-Board Storage Device?
I am looking forward to expanding the storage on the K2000 with the 3.4 upgrade coming out soon. My understanding of it so far is that it has to be a NAS device, and that Kace support has had success with Netgear ReadyNAS, Windows Server 2008, and Synology DSM NAS devices.
Is anybody else planning for the off-board storage expansion? What device do you intend to use?

Hey Corey - question if you get this. Will the scripted installs pull directly from the alternate location or would we still be limited to the speed of the kbox 2200? I'd love to carve out some space on our SAN and run a 08 or linux VM with massive networking - but if it won't help it's not worth it for me.

I think I basically made a duplicate of this in a new post, which I can't delete. The text of that other post is:
It seems that there has been some flux in the support level for using Windows Storage Server 2008 serving up a VHD via iSCSI to the K2.
The current edition of the KB lists "Virtual Disk" as a supported way of setting up the offboard storage, but support says that isn't actually working right now, but a patch should be down the road.
Has anybody set up offboard storage on Windows Storage Server 2008? What kind of problems are happening?
