Old Dell SX280 scripted install
I've got about 200 old dell SX280s hanging out (I know - old). When doing a scripted XP install they all hang up on installing network... I updated the nic driver and it still hung but broke several other machines nic drivers. The GX280 (with the same damn nic) works like a charm. Any thoughts? Can I run a task to remove any drivers prior to the install then follow up with post install tasks to take care of drivers or something weird like that?? Any thoughts (besides me making these just go away:))?
OS is XP pro SP3.

Have you tried installing the latest XP drivers from Broadcom for the 57xx series of NICs?

IF that doesn't work try installing drivers post-install from within Windows. Then use the Driver Harvester to pull the NIC driver. Alternately you could find the Hardware ID of a NIC that works and verify that Hardware ID is listed in your K2000's Drivers tab.
Sincerely,
Eric
