Patch Schedule
Ok, here is a strange question maybe.
I've been getting reports here in this building that staff have been arriving in the office to find that there computers are turned on when they have shut them down the night before. I have not setup any wake-on-lan command to any of the computers effected. The only thing I have is a Patch Schedule that is doing a detect at 9am on wednsday.
So is the Patch Schedule turning the computers on to do the detect?
Anybody else have the same issue?

Nope, a patch schedule can't do this. It only works on connected machines.
If you're sure you don't have a scheduled WOL task, check the BIOS of the affected machines to see if they have a wake up time set. You might be able to do that from Windows or Mac OS, too.
For Dell machines, there is a utility called the Dell Client Configuration Utility which lets you see and set those BIOS values, too.
