Patching question

Hello,
we are trying to implement patching with the Kbox into our network and we are wondering if when install patches do the users have to be logged into the computer? will the patches run if no user is logged in?

Patching will happen if there is no user logged in to the local console, there is also an option to run patching for users who's computers are not currently connect to the KBox to run them the next time they check in.

In your deployment task you can tell it what you would like to do. You can chose to Alert the user and give them the option to ignore the task and set a reminder time. If you just want to force install to everyone you can do that as well. You can also set a timeout option so If they are logged in but don't respond to the alert, after the designated time the patches will be deployed.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
