Scripts are the best way to monitor a server. This is because it can be monitored remotely. The script that I use will be linked here under the resource tab. It works with my server but it's not guaranteed that it will work with yours.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,so that the conversation will remain readable.
