Proper way to reference HP Scripting Tools
All,
I have a number of HPDL380G6 servers which I will be using the KB2000 to build via a scripted install. My strategy is to start by using a preinstall task that makes use of the HP Scripting Toolkit to build the logical array. I have obtained the toolkit, and been researching the proper commands, input files,etc... However, its unclear to me how best to make available to KPE the Toolkit files themselves. I guess I could zip the Toolkit up and attach it to a pre-install task, then run a batch script. But, is there a better way? Is there a share on the KB2000 I could reference that would make available to KPE the Toolkit? (I didn't think the driver share would work) Then, I would just need to run on the command line of the preinstall task the command "cpqacuxe.exe" for example and reference the correct file to create say a RAID 10. I believe this approach of making tools/scripts/files available to KPE from a KBOX share is doable rather than uploading zip files with each preinstall task...I'm just not sure how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
