Remote Access IE Settings
I've built a script to push out to users that have access to the K1000 and need to do remote support. I've essentially setup domain policy to allow remote assistance and rdp sessions for certain computer OU. That works fine, if the IE settings stick.
I have a script I send to all the users that are authorized to their machines here are the edits I'm making (I do this in the trusted sites)
REM Current Logged in user
REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1208 /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1209 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 2201 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1004 /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1201 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1200 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
REM All Users on system
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1208 /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1209 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 2201 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1004 /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1201 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2" /v 1200 /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
Any idea why some people's never works, or seems to revert back over time?
Thanks
