replication share

Hi,

I am just about to set this up and have a few questions regarding it.

I assume that the PCs I want to connect to the replication share need to be part of the same label and that label selected in the replication option?

whats the best way to filter the different sites into labels? the sites have different subnets but I cant seem to find a way to filter them down. Anyone got any ideas?

for example we have two sites using these ip ranges below.

10.142.151.0 nottingham

10.142.151.64 Coventry

How can i seperate these ranges into labels?

Yes, the replication share is assigned to a label of machines.

Use "Matches REGEX" and you can filter on number ranges. Google 'regex' if you are unfamiliar with it. There is a ton of online documentation.

I'm not sure if you have a naming convention for each of those sites. If you do, you can also use those to separate them out instead of building a regex statement. Both work but the naming convention would be easier and faster.

no naming convention here which is annoying so I am going down the regex route.

Cheers
