setting up tickets for approvals

We need to be able to have manager approval for some permission request tickets but the managers can not respond to the tickets. how can we set this up so they can comment on the tickets with approval or dis-approval?

Kace fixed some things re: approvals in !2.0. So hopefully you are on latest version.  I remember I had to do some trickery.  If your approvals need to comment on tickets, you could make them owners of the q as well as approvers and allow any owner to comment on any ticket.  But could be tough to manage, because approvers just get the approval link..   I had to rethink around kace's process to make it work.  And its not great.  I just looked and I dont allow approvers to comment.. they either approve with a note of direction and a child is created or they disapprove with a note in the disapproval.


I dont know how to achieve what you are after.. and I think I know what you are after.. you want approvers to give some direction or ask questions. Kace just isnt set up that way.. We added TONS of direction in the approval form.. we did a default entry in each field with instruction as to what was necessary to get approval.
