Smart Label not applying

Hi folks.

I have gotten OK with smart labels and using the logic with AND/OR masking.

My current challenge is that even though I have created a smart label which when tested and the label lists the computers as I expect it will but the label is not applied to the computers. In this case, I was targeting remote DC's with x86 architecture so I could start using the patching. The smart label after being created applied itself to only one of those machines when there actually 5.

Any ideas as to why this is not working would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Smart labels are only applied when a machine checks in. The "test" button is just a preview based on what is currently in inventory.
Have they checked in since creation?

I see one ha since checked in... It's good to know that. Is there any way I force the computers in question to check in?

Thanks!

I usually use the Force Inventory update on a machine's inventory page to make it check in. It would be nice if you could force an update on multiple computers from the list, but as it is you have to look at each machine and click the button.

You can also use the built in script to force check-in.

OK - I see they have all checked in now. It has been driving me nuts for some time now.

Thanks again.
