SMMP Service Crashing on Replication Shares

Recently I have uploaded a 1.7GB zipped install file for a new software distribution push to my K1100. Ever since then my Kbox SMMP service on the Replication share computers are crashing after being on for a few minutes. I have also noticed that this new software push won't install either. I have a support ticket in but I haven't heard a response on this issue since Monday. Has anyone else uploaded large files successfully to the Kbox? I'm currently running kbox version 5.2.38773 and my client version is 5.1.38724.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

I don't know if this is related or not, but I was advised by support to use 7-zip for my compression app - especially if your ZIP contains folders. I had an incident where folders and files were contained in the ZIP. I used the latest WinZip to create the package and KACE unzipped it without the folder structure. Also, I was told that KACE doesn't currently support the new compression extension of .ZIPX.

FYI... Every since moving to 7-zip I've not had any issues.

Hope this helps,
Dave

I did use 7-zip with all of the default settings when I created the zip file. 7-zip has been a great tool.
