Software missing from Windows agent inventory

I have a new version of PGP Desktop to push out. I installed it on a laptop with the K1000 agent to get the software into inventory so I could create an MI, but it won't show up in inventory. It only shows up in the software catalog. I have several older versions of PGP in inventory, so I associated the msi file with one of them and created the MI but I'd rather associate the versions correctly.

The agent is version 6.3.314. Other newly installed software is showing up in inventory as it should. Is there something else I can do to get the new pgp into inventory?

Thanks.

You may have to use a custom inventory rule to do this.  Basically, you can use existence of a file/folder or a registry key to do this, but there are other options.  https://support.software.dell.com/k1000-systems-management-appliance/kb/112026
