Software uninstall help
Hi guys,
I have zipped up two files which are needed for the software uninstall.
The zip downloads and extracts to the client machine but that is when it stops, Nothing else happens?
The log on the server reports this
System.Exception: Package download failure, or missing 'full command' if MI is a .zip file
The command I have used to run the file needed for the installation is,
"app.exe"/silent
Is that correct or do I need to give it the full address?

What did you use to zip these two file? If you used Windows archive utility, you may want to try 7-zip instead.

Is there a space between your app.exe and /silent? it doesn't look like there is.
You don't need to give the full address, as the agent knows the directory it should be in. You can confirm delivery by going to your machine and looking under the downloads directory for this MI. Also, you can look in the KDeploy.log to see if there is any detail in there (if you are on 5.3)

Just tried with a space and have recieved the same thing (downloads files, unzips them and nothing)
where is this log found?

Can you post a screen shot of your MI?
Also when you zipped up the file, did you zip the two files or a folder with both of the files?

When your'e doing an uninstall make sure you choose the radio button for "configure manually".
use the line app.exe /silent
and check the box for the uninstall.
the zip structure must be as follows:
.\app.exe
.\subdirs\blah
You must be using agent 5.3.43516 or higher
