SQL Reference Recommendation

Anyone recommend a good book or reference to get me started learning SQL for writing custom reports and help desk rules? It does not need to be anything spectacular, just something to teach me to make my own reports and rules. Thanks in advance!

I bought some books, but none were really as helpful as the MySQL documentation. If you want to know how to do something, look it up in the online reference or in the SQL GUI Tools (which you should download if you already haven't).

I agree with this, w3 is a great start, but after that its just practice.
