Stock Levels / Asset Management

Hello,

I wanted to throw this out there and see what others are doing for asset management.


Ideally, we would want to keep track of stock levels per asset for things such as cables, cards, etc... without having a single asset per item. We are reviewing Barkode from indigo mountain, but wanted to see what magic someone can do from the appliance alone.

The easiest solution would be to modify the asset type to include a quantity field. That field could then be updated to reflect how many are in stock.

  • Thank you for your reply. However; that is not really the process we want to follow. We are looking for the ability to update that value based on scans in / out.
