Suppressing UAC consent prompt by AutoIt script

Hello Guys,

I have written an AutoIT script and converted into exe. AutoIT script calls an exe which is a part of admin studio which prompt for consent window in background and return back without proper result. For further testing when I disabled the UAC from registry from 1 to 0 and Consent key from 2 to 0, I was able to get proper result. But I don't want to change the setting of system is there any other way to suppress consent window coming on exe which is a part of admin studio through which I can achieve proper result.

Thanks

What "consent" window? Do you mean the dialog that UAC pops up?

By the way, please try and be sensible with your tagging. What on Earth does your query have to do with VBSEdit, for example? And TEN tags connected with AutoIt?!?

OK. Have you applied the 'Always Install Elevated' Group Policy to the machines?

WI doesn't check that the policy has been applied, merely the existence of the registry value that gets written when it is applied.
So, you can add the registry key & value, install your app, then delete the key.

    • No, VBScab means the registry key set by the GPO configuration "Always Install Elevated".
Try entering "Always Install Elevated" into the Google search engine. You may find that this gives you the precise answer to your question. - EdT 9 years ago
