Switching from Kace1k to 2k problem
We were trying to setup the ability to switch from kace 1k to kace 2k via the organization drop down. We can get it to go from the 2k appliance to the 1k but not the other way around. When using the drop down we get a "Navigation to the webpage was canceled".
Has anyone had any luck on getting this to work?

I went back and deleted and renamed the linking to see if it would help. I still seem to get the same results. I can switch from k2000 to k1000 but not from k1000 to k2000.
I do see it trying to pass a token through internet explorer and it not filling out the entire address. This is an example of what I'm getting: http://xxxx/_Local(Token#) . After where i have xxxx it should have our domain which it does not. If i manually go to the address bar within the timeout limit and add our domain name it will get me over into the device. Kind of weird that is chopping this off during the switch over.

I would check and make sure you are using full domain names everywhere, it sound like that is the problem, make sure to check all 4 places:
K1000: "Settings" -> "Linking Dell KACE Appliances Settings"
K1000: "Settings" -> "Manage Linked Dell KACE Appliances"
K2000: "Settings & Manitance" -> "KACE Linking"
K2000: "Settings & Manitance" -> "Manage Linked Appliances"
K1000: "Settings" -> "Linking Dell KACE Appliances Settings"
K1000: "Settings" -> "Manage Linked Dell KACE Appliances"
K2000: "Settings & Manitance" -> "KACE Linking"
K2000: "Settings & Manitance" -> "Manage Linked Appliances"

More often than not you're missing a DNS entry, or there's a conflict in DNS for the IP address. If both appliances are testing properly when you test connection from the UI, then it's permissions for the user account; ensure both are using the same authentication method and the account you're logged in trying to switch with has admin permissions on both appliances.
