Sysprep, minisetup, and postinstall tasks
I spent many, many hours trying to get one of my standard XP images working on the K2000, and I thought I had everything figured out. However, after working out everything else, I discovered my postinstallation tasks aren't launching. According to this article, postinstall tasks won't work on a sysprepped image that runs minisetup: http://www.kace.com/support/kb/index.php?action=artikel&cat=54&id=684&artlang=en
Does anyone know what file or registry key is being deleted? It seems like it would be trivial to add this back in using the GUIRunOnce section of sysprep.inf, but I need to know exactly what needs to be added.
Alternatively, I've always run minisetup in the past because I was soliciting input from the person setting up the imaged machine. Now that I've completely automated the minisetup process, do I still need to use the -mini paramter when I run sysprep?
Thanks.

I'm not sure I follow. I do have a a guirunonce section with a single command in it. Are you saying that my K2000 postinstallation tasks will work as long as I completely remove the guirunonce section and run my single command as a K2000 postinstallation task, instead? If I have that right, it doesn't sound like it jibes with the linked KB article, at all.

Removing the guiRunOnce section did the trick.
FWIW, I think the KB article would be much more helpful if it included this info. As it stands, it makes it sound like you simply cannot use postinstallation tasks and mini-setup in the same deployment. In fact, it flat out states "if you use sysprep with the minisetup option, you will not be able to deploy K2000 post installation tasks." That's clearly not the case.
Anyway, thanks for your quick and helpful responses - they're very much appreciated.
