System preparation for OSX K-Image Capture?

I am just starting to look at capturing and deploying with the K2000. I am coming from a perspective of Windows 7 deployment. Does OSX have anything along the lines of sysprep? Or can I just configure the mac how I want, and then capture/deploy it?
