Man I want to hand it to you guys (whoever created this site), you really helped me out! I was having that 1500 error with windows installer and looked all over the place until I came across this site. Sure, microsoft created the tool to fix the error, but out of all the searching I did, you were the only ones to even suggest the tool! It was frustrating that I couldn't find the solution so I could install what I wanted. What's weird is that I could install a lot of things but certain programs wouldn't install.
