Ultravnc not working on XP
Hello,
So I have been working with Dell KACE Support and I need to have Ultra VNC pushed out to all the computers before I can use our Help Desk Module.
So i was given a script that works for Windows 7 and it copy's over the Ultra VNC folder to the program files directory. I can remote Windows 7 Computers without an issue.
When i go to Remote a Windows XP machine it says the computer is locked. I check the INI file and it is set correctly. Does anyone have any thoughts.
Any help would be great.

One thing to try. I did my install of ultravnc /very silent /loadfile ultranvnc.ini. I also had a ultravnc file i had setup that i would copy over afterwards with a batch file then stop the vnc service and start the vnc service again. This way it would run the newest ini file with my passwords set and my configuration. I'll try to post my file on monday but im away from the office right now and unable to do it. I had it working on windows 7 and xp with managed installs. There is a locked file in the ini file that needs to be set to 0 i believe. If not then if someone is logged into the pc and locks it then you won't be able to log in i believe.

Hi Quickwhips,
So this is what i did to fix the issue, while working with Dell KACE Support.
I installed Ultravnc manually. I then copied my manual install over a push install and that seemed to fix everything. I have 2 scripts that are linked and it copies the working directory and it works without an issue.
