Unable to Import Packages on K2000 (K2200 3.4.54256 Deployment Appliance)
I am trying to import the WIM_Packages from the KNIT (KACE Native Imaging Tools), following the instructions in the "K2000 Native Imaging Toolkit 3.4.pdf" that was included in the download.
I go to Settings & Maintenance>Package Management>Import K2000 Packages and select "Upload Package for Import" from the Choose Action drop down.
I select the first pkg "KI8_1308089012_4826.pkg" and Import Package, which briefly shows a progress pop up box.
The Status then shows Currently:Importing Packages.
However when I go to Library>Postinstallation Tasks the relevant "WIM - Apply Native .wim [Template] file" are not present.
I tried importing a couple of times and re-downloaded the KNIT package in case it was corrupt. I have even tried this from another machine but still get the same result.
I then noticed that under the "Package Manager Queue" it was showing several Blank items of 0 Bytes that were Importing. The number of these items related to the number of attempts I had made at importing the wim packages. Also, although may not be related, under "Off-Board Package Transfer" it currently states that a "Backup-Restore is currently in progress" although to my knowledge we are not currently doing a Backup-Restore.
I have submitted a ticket to KACE support for this but thought I would pose the question in case (or is that Kase) anyone else has had this problem previously and knew of a solution.
