Uncataloged Windows app from Microsoft Store - can K1000 provide updates?

Our K1000 is configured to push updates for 3rd-party apps.

One of our departments uses a free app from the Microsoft Store called Drawboard PDF. It shows up in Kace as uncataloged software, and it doesn't look like it's auto-updating in the same manner as our other 3rd-party software (like Adobe). Does anyone have experience with this?

Are you able to download the installer for this Application and manually run it to update existing installations?

If so, you may be able to create a Managed Install or use the Scripting module of the SMA to keep that particular SW updated.

  • I suppose I could try & get that. I was hoping Kace could manage it without my intervention. - ljg_gencode 3 years ago
