If you're talking about the 5.1 release, it's already being rolled out.

what about full functionality? 5.1 is beta still?

I've been told that 5.1 is production and is being pushed out to K1000's by KACE. They don't do the push to all companies at once, they do a staged rollout. The way I understand it, 5.1 production is supposed to provide full module functionality.

So, no more having to purchase modules?

I can't state anything officially, as I'm not an employee of KACE. Maybe someone at KACE can weigh in on this?

5.1 GA has not been released yet. We are in a pre-release cycle. When 5.1 GA is released then you will see the update available on your kbox or you can download it at http://www.kace.com/support -> downloads

For those with restricted license keys on their existing KBOX license agreement, the 5.1 update will open the key up to include the modules that were optional before and have now become default (e.g. helpdesk, assets, etc)

Thanks Gerald. I've been telling people improvements to Labels as well as scripting with a "Run As XYZ User" are coming with the 5.1 release. Now that everyone here is hungry for the changes do you know when a planned release date might be? Before the end of this month perhaps?

Can't comment on a release date, since anything can change.

With that said, we hope to be releasing soon.
