user state after system has been imaged

I know you can apply a user state as part of a scripted image. Is there a way to say, image the machine with a scripted image, then maybe a week later when they're ready to deploy apply the user states to the previously imaged machine?

User states are stored in the Microsoft easy transfer format.

In 3.3 you can download the user state and just double click from the web interface.

Before 3.3 you would need to find the user state in the peinst folder.

Yeah, I saw that. I'll just have to show the imaging folks how to download the file and apply. :)

Thanks

  • Any chance that can be found in a help article somewhere? I have these user states and I can't do anything with them at the moment... - Ultimation 11 years ago
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
