USMT - HELP Please

Hi,

I am new to USMT so not really sure they best way to go with it.

From what I have read so far the K2000 has a built in option for this and I am currently playing with it now. Two problems I can see with using the built in option is that I cannot see anywhere in the options to to change where the files are stored. I want to do this because the k2000 box is running fairly low on space. Is this possible? if so how? and if not what to do?

and will this work on the RSA's as well?

Thanks

Mac

Mac,

The USMT, when called by the K2000, will only upload captured profiles to the K2 itself. To work around this, you can call the USMT via the K1000 or some alternate method.

Hey Mac456,

Have you looked at the hard link migration?

It basically leaves all the flies on the drive so there's no uploading required.

Here's some scripts i put together a while back.
