USMT-Net Use Error
Hi,
I am currently trying to use the User State Migration Tool (USMT) with the K2000. I have tried capturing with Vista and Win7. The firewall is off, file sharing is on, followed the steps recommended by Kace for both OS's. I keep getting the same error. I have tried many different scenarios by entering the fully qualified dns and IP address for the Host. I have provided local admin account, admin domain accounts with the same results. I connected using Net Use to the designated computer with no errors. Has anybody else seen this error when using the USMT in the K2000?
Error Message:
Status: Failed
Host testcomputer - Failed - The syntax of this command is:. NET USE. [devicename | *] [\\computername\sharename[\volume] [password | *]]. [/USER:[domainname\]username]. [/USER:[dotted domain name\]username]. [/USER:[username@dotted domain name]. [/SMARTCARD]. [/SAVECRED]. [[/DELETE] | [/PERSISTENT:{YES | NO}]]. NET USE {devicename | *} [password | *] /HOME. NET USE [/PERSISTENT:{YES | NO}].
Thanks,
David
