Vmware Workstation 8.0 i unable add share folder

i unable add share folder  from settings menu share folders by default it is disabled it warning me to install vmware tools.
 i started installing from vmtab vmwaretools install and click finish,i am getting black screen and at buttom it showing installing vmware tools from long time.
