Wake-on-LAN script for Monday through Friday Only
The Wake-on-LAN (WOL) web interface (http://kbox/adminui/wol.php) doesn't offer advanced scheduling like a regular Kscript. The choices are every day or pick one of the seven days. What I wanted was Monday through Friday only so the computers won't be powered up automatically on the weekend.
Here's a workaround I discovered and am not sure if it is working yet! Create a label to be applied to the desired computers, for example Wake6AM. Configure a new scheduled Wake-on-LAN item (http://kbox/adminui/wol_list.php). Assign it to the label created. Now here's the trick: Go to the Inventory/Labels tab and select that label to see the details. Under the "Label Uses" section will be Scripts. Expand the Scripts link to expose the WOL script link. Click it to visit the Wake-on-LAN script with more advanced features!
Instead of every day at 6 AM the Custom Schedule can be modified to read "0 6 * 1-5 *" which in essence means "At 6 AM weekdays." When the script is saved you are returned to the main Scripts list which doesn't include the WOL scripts. To return to that script you have to go the long way around again.

Here we are six years later and still no ability to set a WOL schedule to weekdays only without creating 5 separate schedules tied to 5 separate labels and all five have to be assigned to the computers for them to do WOL only on weekdays. - RichB 8 years ago
