What happens to the SDA without VBScript?
Microsoft recently announced that VBScript is being deprecated: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/deprecated-features.
It seems to me that the KACE SDA (and any imaging tool, really) depends on VBScript, although I may be expressing my ignorance here. I've heard that Microsoft is wanting to push us towards Intune, but that's not an imaging tool.
I'm interested in hearing what the ITNinja community thinks about the future of Windows imaging. Do you feel comfortable accepting OEM Windows images and all the stuff that comes with them? Do you have a backup plan in case it stops working entirely at some point?
I realize we're probably a long way off from this actually causing problems, but I want to be ready if or when it does.

Right now the whole imaging process can be scripted with VBS and is suggested by MS. If MS says: we don't use it anymore and don't want the customers to use it and make it not working, then the companies who deploy will change their products on time.
And you can also do it on the raw way with PXE to image (as we did in the 1990s) since OEM media are never an option.
