When running a script, is it possible to filter by searching with "log on user" instead of IP or machine name?

Is it possible to make this so when i search for a "last logged user" it populates rather than typing in the IP or machine name?

Well... no. That functionally doesn't exist. Could you create a smart label that looks for the the last logged on user or users you are looking for and then just deploy to that?

  • I suppose I could, but i have 300+ users and i don't want to make 300 smart labels. Unfortunately our computer naming scheme is set to the building, floor, and service tag so there is no indication of who the user is without looking at the inventory. - areiner 11 years ago
    • Have you thought about utilizing the user portal? Create LDAP labels for the users that need certain software. That way when they login they only see what they need to see.

I know it's not automatic, but if your users move around software could end up getting installed on a lot of machines that do not need it. This way it's only installed if needed. - dugullett 11 years ago
