Where does the K1000 obtain the information for the field CSP ID Number from?

I am currently configuring my K1000 for Asset Management and I came across an issue regarding the primary key of computer asset type.  Depending on certain manufacturers, the serial number of the computer is listed in different fields.  I know this has been talked about in other questions, but I have not seen anyone discuss the CSP ID Number field.  Where does this come from and is there some way I can use this as the primary key for computers in asset management?  I have provided pictures below to show that regardless of the computer type, the CSP ID Number is the same as the Serial Number of the computer.  Can anyone provide guidance or offer suggestions in how they dealt with different computer manufacturers and this issue?

Thanks
Matt L

the CSP ID number is the Bios serial number, its exactly the same (according to the k1000 manual the CSP id comes from the DB table BIOS_Serial_Number, the bios serial number also comes from that same table)... no wonder they look similar.
