Why does my import of assets with user rejected?

I am trying to import our iPads inventory into a new asset list I created in the K1000. If I add a field called Assigned User and select the User as Type or just Label it user and leave the field astype as text, it rejects my import. Remove this field and it works every time. During the import process (with the user field) I'm required to select a User key, which is either User ID, User Name or email address. The preview always looks fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Should I just import them into the Computers list?

You need to select the User field, and select the User key, so it knows how to map your users in the spreadsheet to the Kace users in the system. What kind of error message are you receiving?
