Just wanted to know whether windows 10 build version upgrades can be done through our K1000 patch upgrades.

Nope, patching will not upgrade your Windows 10 to a newer major build number,

They're not considered patches and aren't available through the patch feed, but there is a Quest KB article on making a Managed Installation to accomplish this:
