WSName - Delete existing Computer Object
Hello,
I'm due to refresh are current image during a building move and need some help with using WSName. I have the imaging process down to a tee apart from one POST installation task. All of of the PCs that are to be imaged are current members of the DOMAIN, so after the PC has been imaged WSNAME name will run once SYSPREP has finished running, but the script fails because the object name already exists in the DOMAIN.
Script being executed.
wsname.exe /n:$SERIALNUM /rcid /user:shadow.com\domainadmin /pass:domainadmin /DELETEEXISTING
Note. Removing the object from the DOMAIN before running WSNAME works perfectly, but I would like the deployment process totally automated. (LESS room for USER error)
Any advice/guidance on how to resolve my issue would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
