WTK: KACE Backup

Good day, is there a way to backup your data on the data within the KACE Appliance. If no, how do you go about backing up your system? Thank you.

You should be able to view/edit your KACE backup settings by going to:


Settings > Control Panel > Backup Settings


You can also view this article: https://support.quest.com/kb/111736/how-to-setup-a-process-to-automatically-move-the-backup-files-off-of-the-quest-kace-sma-appliance

to help with moving the backup files.

  • since 9.0 you also have an automated procedure of offboarding the backups in backup settings, which allows you to save the backup outside of the appliance using (S)FTP or SMB. - Nico_K 5 years ago
