Xerox Phaser 6280 - Offline

A little different than my regular questions, but you guys are always on top of things.

We installed a Xerox Phaser 6280DN on a Win 2k8 print server. It's using an IP that the previous HP printer was using and I can reach it via the web config page. When I view it from the print server Printers window or any remote machine with any OS, the Phaser shows as Offline. I can manage the settings and restart it remotely, but can't get it to show online or get anyone to install\connect to it. I've tried disabling SNMP, entering manual DNS and WINS settings and compared it with the settings of another Phaser 6280DN that sits on a different print server and can't get the new one to work\online. Our network guys confimred the MAC address and IP are being seen correctly on their end.

Anyone seen this or have any suggestions for fixing an "offline" Phaser?

Thanks!

Check the firmware version on the printer. Are you able to print to it directly?  It could be a global printer driver issue, try using a specific pcl or xps type driver.
