Hi, I was trying something like this as a managed install in KACE, but it doesn't work. It tries to install, says successful, then later says not installed.
Someone else mentioned that Java 8 can no longer be installed as a MI because it must be run as administrator.

Has anyone gotten this to work with the exe?
Thanks -

Thanks, I hadn't even thought of the K2000 because I was thinking patching at the moment. Java updates come out every couple months now and they are always changing the install settings... I was using an msi, but sometimes it installs fine, but then won't work for some users because it doesn't register the plugin in IE for all users. The colleges need Java for the Banner application.
Thanks again. -
