Accessing the kace ticketing system from outside our domain. ( from the internet)

Hi guys

any suggestions of how to have ticket owners get access to tickets over the internet.

By the way.......WITHOUT A VPN.

I tried to create a user within out domain with an external mail address e.g hotmai, but

they didn’t get any notifications.

presently all our users having access to the support queue are from within the domain.

Is this possible?

If so....will I also have to register the FQDA of the k1 as a domain with a hosting company?

Or is there a simpler way to do this?

I am getting a request for ticket owners to get tickets email notifications and to work on them

when they travel abroad.

As always any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

To access the service desk, externally without VPN, then the SMA needs to be externally facing, secured by a certificate. If that is the case you then you need to create your accounts for the external techs and add them in to the label for ticket owners.

if your queue email us configured correctly your “external techs” should be able to work, access and get alerts from your queue.
