ADK for 8.1
Should I expect that running adksetup.exe will take a very long time? I tried it yesterday and gave up after maybe an hour. I am trying it now and it is stuck at Acquiring...PE?
Thanks.
Jane

I didn't see an option to download the entire source. I did remove all of the default items in the list except Deployment and PE and it seems to be making a little progress - jfrasier 10 years ago

Should not take that long. Even to a VM it only took a few minutes for me. However, I would always recommend choosing the option to download the entire source locally before trying to install. I have not had much luck with "direct from the web" installs.

Time to polish the spectacles, but to make it simpler - here is the link giving instructions:

I actually never was able to install it on my computer. I ended up installing it on my laptop at home.
