Advertise queue on Sharepoint
Has anyone ever created a Sharepoint page for the queue status?
With KACE the users can only see their account info and not the huge backlog we have from everyone else in the company. I want to eliminate the walkups and people continously asking where they are in the queue.
I know Sharepoint can draw from a database and I have the ODBC setup instructions that I use for connecting with Access and dbForge. I was wondering if this would work or if anyone has tried this.
One thing that I did run into with dbForge is I notice that even though I am connecting Read-Only, it can lock the tables and I don't wanto to persue this if that is going to happen.
