Cannot Get Image to Load....v. Kace, Error 1231
I have read a few questions/answers concerning Error 1231, comes down to NIC drivers it seems.
After reading those articles I have since loaded the Dell E7450 driver pack from the Driver Feed into our driver dictionary. I did update the driver dictionary as well.
I rebooted the laptop (Dell E7450), pxe'ed it. And still halts on the cmd prompt with Error 1231
Anyone have any further ideas on this issue?

Hi,
I would recommend the following steps which should correct the issue.
1. Verify you have only the latest WINPE3/WINPE5 diver pack installed, remove or archive (send to zip folder) any other drivers leaving only the native drivers on the \\ikbox\drivers.
2. Search the contents of kbe_windows_x86 and kbe_windows_x64 for iaStorA.sys, delete any of these files (these will be replaced with different drivers in the following steps).
3. Access http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/enterprise-client/w/wiki/7938.latitude-e74507450-windows-7-driver-pack and download the CAB file.
4. Using a compression utility (WinZip, 7Zip, etc..) access the cab file and extract out the x86 and x64 storage driver keeping straight the architecture, usually I make a folder of the model, then create folders x86 and x64 so I extract directly to the folder the storage driver belongs.
5 . Copy the storage driver just obtained into the correct kbe_windows_x86 or kbe_windows_x64 folder.
6. Re-cache the drivers and then create a new KBE to be used to PXE boot the system.

The 1231 is caused by a missing network driver (I217xxx in that case)
Austin Dave is correct, but you don't need the full cab file (this is the easier way, also other peers prefer) only the network driver you can download from Dell.
Here you have the full procedure:
