Changed name of PC and now it does not check in to KACE
I changed the name and description of a computer and now it will not check in to KACE. The old device name still shows up and it never updates/check ins. What do I need to do to make it check in? Will need some good "step-by-step" instructions.

Just changing the name of a device will not stop it checking in to your SMA if it has the agent installed and a valid token?
I would suggest that you reinstall the agent, then go to Settings > Provisioning > Communication settings on your SMA
Scroll down to the "Duplicate Machine Detection settings" and remove all the ticks except for the "BIOS Serial number" box.
When your device checks in, your SMA should attach the device to the inventory record with the matching BIOS Serial number and the Asset history should show that the name and description have changed.
