Configuring email on K1000 with Office 365 using on prem Exchange
Hello,
I'm trying to get a K1000 configured to send and receive email in our helpdesk.
My company uses Office 365 with an on prem Exchange environment.
At another company I worked at 4 years back, we ran exchange local only. We followed this guide and used transport rules to get it all running: http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/set-up-exchange-2007-2010-with-kbox-1000-server-5-3

My question is which of these articles should I follow? Do I want to follow the office 365 link above if we run an on prem Exchange? Should I do this all via transport rules? If so, do I set these rules in the office 365 cloud or on the on prem server?

+make new receive connector on Exchange
Fronted Transport
Type: Partner (For example, trusted 3rd Party Servers)
Set IP addresses from Sending Server
Security lvl "Anonymous Users"

Server: exchangeServer Port: 25
