Dell detect only schedule detected and deployed not just detected.
I opened a ticket with KACE but I thought I'd ask here. We had a DELL Updated schedule that was detect only and for some reason it not only detected but also deployed. No settings were changed and I verified it was set to detect only. This updated network adaptor drivers on a subset of PCs and servers and caused a lot of issues. Anyone ever run into this situation? Thanks.
This is on a KACE SMA 1000 appliance.

Are you running the 11.1 upgrade? I noticed I had to reconfigure my schedules after the upgrade. My default detect schedule was not detecting anything and I just ticked the All Updates box and it started working again, but I cannot confirm if it was deploying updates though unless I do some digging. If you have a test machine, I would run a fresh image and perform a manual detect to see if any drivers get deployed or maybe cross-reference the time the drivers were installed on your machines and the detect schedule. logging a ticket is the best way. (can I have the number?)
Never seen this before but the logs will tell.
What comes in my mind is the Windows Update (built in) which could have been ran and updated some hardware drivers which caused the issue.
