Dell System Detect uninstallation with K1000
How do I uninstall DSD through command line silently?????
Hi guys. I use K1000 6.3 and based on the following article and Google search I've decided I want to uninstall Dell System Detect from my device inventory ASAP. DSD 3.x and 5.x shows up in my 'Software Catalog' in Kace. DSD does show in add/remove on local client however it doesn't have a silent uninstaller switch from what I can see. Problem is this thing is a bitch to uninstall silently!

I can see the location of this program is either here:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\AD8ZNK7Z.YEO\1XWGRHW1.097\dell..tion_e30b47f5d4a30e9e_0006.0000_af0e208a066998a1
or here:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\GXCB5X1H.QT2\PDETD8W0.3RE\dell..tion_e30b47f5d4a30e9e_0005.000c_1df9a4898fae00de\
Although I'm not sure how much it varies on all systems in my environment. I've tried running uninstaller.exe and dellsystemdetect.exe with all known uninstall and silent switches. When I run uninstaller.exe with silent switches it pops up with a window with two radio buttons, the one that isn't grayed out says:
"Remove the application from this computer"
Thanks all,
-Ben

I'm having a similar issue uninstalling Dell System Detect automatically and silently, due to the newly discovered Root CA issues: http://en.community.dell.com/dell-blogs/direct2dell/b/direct2dell/archive/2015/11/23/response-to-concerns-regarding-edellroot-certificate - jgstew 9 years ago

So far, this is the only option I could find: https://github.com/6wunderkinder/Wunder.ClickOnceUninstaller
It is not ideal and it must be compiled from source. I haven't tried it yet.
Ideally there would be a switch or something that you could use when calling the uninstaller.exe in the folder of DSD to silently uninstall it.
This is the reason I am looking to uninstall it:
