This happens every single time and it finishes in two seconds, not sure where to start?

Do you have the patch labels applied, and have you verified that the patches have downloaded?

yes, all patches are applied and downloaded. This only happens on remote machines using replication shares, when I enable failover it works.

  • Sounds like the issue is with your rep shares then, not the patching setup itself. - nheyne 11 years ago

it appears to be rep related, permissions are fine and the files are there

Comments:
  • When we set up our rep shares, we could see out from the share but not in because of a port being blocked. Could be something like that maybe? - nheyne 11 years ago
    • Yes make sure the file sharing ports are open. - petelanglois 11 years ago
  • Please remove the patching labels and recreate them. (this is a step which often solves the issue) If possible don't use them.
Also contact the support, to get a repl share patch.
It is possible that the patching DB on your replshares are too big, - Nico_K 11 years ago
