Some free tools were established for research purposes long ago. They were created based on technology being developed for possible use within products. The System Inventory Tool was created using new inventory code that was later implemented within the K1000 agent. System Inventory Tool generated the same data the agent reports to the server and has been retired from development for quite some time. Secure Browser, Virtual Kontainers and System Inventory were finally removed from kace.com about 2 months ago. They are no longer supported products.
