Google chrome is crashing in terminal server

Google Chrome has been crashing a lot when I'm in remote desktop for about the last week - now it seems to not be working at all. I get a page that says "Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage" or a popup that says the memory could not be written. Excel, Word, and my email seem to be crashing frequently as well - not sure if it's related.

  • If all are crashing then I would tend to think that it's not a problem relegated to Chrome but something with the remote PC. What troubleshooting steps have you taken? - h2opolo25 9 years ago

  • have you tried an old fashioned reboot... Google has a handy little taskmanger you can access from the notification area. If there are memory problems, a reboot might sort that out. Last time I had an issue like this it was .NET and windows update related. - Badger 9 years ago

did you install google chrome for business?
this is a special version voor terminal server and redirected profiles.
You can find it here: https://www.google.nl/chrome/business/browser/admin/
