How often does the SMA inventory an Agentless device?
I have setup a few vcenters as agentless device and created report to list the VMs and another for to show the total number of VMs with and without KACE agent.
These vCenters are across the globe. Now, I'm concerned with these.
how often SMA will inventory these devices?
how much traffic it generates?
In what format the data be captured? LIKE xml/Json/something else?
Can we configure each device to inventory in specific times like our midnight when the production traffic will be less?

at first: Welcome:
How often: depends on your agentless inventory settings. If you left it at the default 1 day it inventories once a day.
How much traffic: not much, it is only reporting the SNMP inventory
the data is SNMP and the reports in the SMA is against its own DB so a simple SQL query but not interfering with the vmware devices.
you can (see the first answer) set the agentless inventory at any time you want.

Thank you very much @Nick The Ninja
I was reading so many question here and finally decided to signup. ;)
I setup these vcenters manually as New Agentless Device. I'm sure I did not see anything for the inventory time.
I have hard time finding the setting for setting the Agentless inventory time. Can you help me with which section in the Admin Guide I can find it?
or maybe help with the path on SMA?

depending on the appliance you have:
Non orgs (the default version)
go to sma/adminui
Settings | Provisioning | Communication Settings
If you have an orgs appliance:
go to sma/systemui (if this is redirected to adminui you have a non orgs box)
